The artworks under the bicycle series were inspired by the everyday
livelihood of the ordinary Ugandan witnessed in the Eastern part of the
country; not the one residing in the city, but the Ugandan who does not
travel to work in a car, one who will earn the bread for the day, the same
Ugandan not troubled by living that way because he/she knows not
another life and is not affected or bothered by the fantasies and dreams of
living luxuriously.
